Cramlington & District Red Squirrel Group is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We are working on some exciting projects to help improve the protection of our native red squirrel and to make nature more engaging for the local community and beyond, and we are very proud of the progress we continue to make.
This nature trail has been funded by Cramlington Rotary Club and Northumberland County Councils Community Chest.
Ben Nixon is an amazing young lad who has been raising funds for Rotary Charities since 2018. Each year he has selected a route to walk raising money to help local projects. We have been lucky enough to be supported by Ben & Cramlington Rotary Club, of which we are extremely grateful.
Cramlington Rotary Club are very proud of Ben’s achievements and have given him a Paul Harris
Award which is the highest honour a Rotary Club can give. We look forward to his future
development and thank him for his efforts.
The nature trail consists of 16 information points bursting with nature facts which you may be lucky enough to see on site, each point is made up of a rubbing plaque and a QR codes which can be scanned to give more information.
